The short version

This website uses Google Analytics cookies only if you press “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you decline, or never answer, nothing is loaded from Google and no analytics cookie is set. You can change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Browsers also offer similar storage, local storage and session storage; this policy covers all of them.

What this website stores

• Your cookie choice, saved as easyway-consent in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again. It stays until you change it or clear your browser's site data, and it is never sent to us.
• An invite you arrived with, kept as easyway_invite_code in session storage so the app download buttons can pass the invite on to the store. It is deleted when you close the tab.
• Google Analytics cookies, _ga and _ga_<ID>, only if you accept. They let Google Analytics recognise a returning browser and keep one visit together, and they last up to 2 years.

What Google Analytics tells us

With your consent, Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how you arrived (for example from a search engine, a shared link or an invite), your type of device and browser, your approximate location (city or country), and which buttons you press, such as the app download buttons, contact links and the main buttons on each page. We use it to see which pages help people and which don't.

Google's advertising features are switched off, and before anything is sent we strip invite codes, shared delivery links and any other details from page addresses, keeping only campaign tags. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. Google handles this data under its privacy policy.

Your choices

• Choose “Accept” or “Decline” on the cookie banner. The website works the same either way.
• Change your mind at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you decline after accepting, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser and stop sending anything.
• If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as “Decline” and don't ask.
• You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on.

The EasyWay apps

The EasyWay, EasyWay Vendor Hub and EasyWay Captain apps don't use browser cookies. They use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to see which screens and features are used and to catch crashes. Our Privacy Policy explains what they collect and how to opt out.

Changes to this policy

If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and the date above, and ask again wherever your consent is needed.
